Hello craft beer fans! Just a quick update for you on the progress we’re making with #PCBW 2015 to start the weekend off right.
The Printed Guide
First, as of today our first-ever printed guide to Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week is off to Rob at CraftPittsburgh to get designed and prepped for the printer. We should have 10,000 copies of this amazing companion to your PCBW festivities in bars, restaurants, distributors, and your hands just in time for the start of Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week on April 17th, so look for your copy about a week or so before this. If you get an early copy, post a picture of yourself with it and tag us @pgh_beerweek with the hashtag #PCBW.
Thanks to our friends at CityPaper, you should expect to see some nice coverage and a big reminder that the week is coming in the issues the week before and in the middle of PCBW this year.
While we’ve had t-shirts each year, the ones that Commonwealth Press are planning this year are easily the best ones yet. You’ve told us we need to freshen things up, and thanks to Dan and his team, we’re doing just that. Check PittsburghCraftBeerWeek.com for more on these, and trust me, you’re definitely going to want one.
Are you a fan of Untappd and all its beer tracking awesomeness? Love getting new badges? Well, this year we’re teaming up with the guys over at Untappd to bring you the Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week 2015 badge. The badge is still being designed, but should be out soon. Check back here for more information and a peek at the badge you’re all gonna want.
We’re still a few weeks away from PCBW 2015 and we’re already just a few events shy of 300! That averages out to just about 30 events per day! With all this amazingness going on, you’re going to want to use some vacation time for sure. Check out the events calendar here and start planning your week now. Trust me, it’s going to be epic.
There’s a lot to be excited about this year for Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week, so get ready and don’t forget to hydrate. Cheers!
